FEROL - (Jeffcoat J 99)
Tet, 28”, EMRE, 5 3/4”, SE, FR
(BETTY WARREN WOODS x CUSTARD CANDY)
Named for my mother, FEROL is a round flat yellow pink blend with a small red eye above a small chartreuse green throat. The petals are broken by a light midrib adding another dimension to the beauty of the flower as does the small yellow edge. These 5 3/4” blooms are flat and slightly fragrant. They are held upright on erect 28” scapes with 4 way branching and sporting 25 buds. FEROL is an early to mid season bloomer with rebloom on established clumps in our garden. A good grower producing average increase with large fans, and makes a beautiful garden display with medium green semi-evergreen foliage. Fertile both ways. FEROL won an AHS Honorable Mention in 2005.
