FAIR DAMSEL is a diploid and a beautiful 5 inch round ruffled creamy pink. The petals have a pale pink band blending into a pale creamy yellow halo set just above an olive green throat. A wonderful grower sending up a number of 27 inch tall re-bloom scapes with 17 buds and 3 way branching. Fragrant, Extended bloomer. Foliage is dormant. Fertile

'Just a Smidgen'

JUST A SMIDGEN, a diploid, is one of my smaller introductions at 4.5 inches. A good grower sending up many bloom scapes averaging 22 inches tall with 14 buds and 3 way branching. It rebloomed even into November this year. The petals are a lavender purple with a darker lavender purple band which has a smidgen of blue. The wide green throat is outlined in pale creamy yellow as it flows out onto the petals. Each petal has a creamy white midrib. The sepals are a slightly paler lavender purple. Foliage is dormant. Fragrant and Extended bloomer. Fertile

WOW!! RHYTHM OF MY SPIRIT is another diploid with very round ruffled wide petaled 5.5 inch flowers, this daylily indeed does reflect the Rhythm of my Spirit! The almond pink petals have a deeper rose pink band. The band has an almond pink notch in the middle of each petal. The wide green throat flows out becoming greenish yellow just below the rose pink band. The rhythm continues with some veining and a slight rose pink edge carried on 22 inch scapes with 15 buds and 3 way branching. It is dormant with fragrance and is an extended bloomer.

SAVOR THE MOMENT, a diploid, has 5.5 inch flowers which are pale pink with a bright rose red eyezone. A matching rose pink border encircles the ruffled edges of the petals, and a vivid green throat shines on the fragrant bloom. Beautiful dark green foliage is dormant and a good grower as is all of the Lavender Blue Baby and Evelyn Gates introductions. The tall 34 inch scapes carry 20 buds with 3 way branching. Being a grandchild of Sherry Lane Carr and a seedling of my introduction Dot’ Alee, this daylily has Sufficient Grace indeed. SUFFICIENT GRACE, a tetraploid, has tall 34 inch scapes with 22 buds and 4 way branching. The 6 inch flowers are a very clear bright rose pink and the wide petals and sepals are edged in yellow ruffles. A whitish halo joins the olive green throat and flows out onto the petals. An excellent grower with beautiful dark green semi-evergreen foliage makes a wonderful addition to the garden. Extended Fertile

Every time I would walk the seedling rows this flower would speak to me, always reminding me of Sunshine on My Face, a big smile with rosy cheeks, but that name was not allowed. SUNSHINE AND LAUGHTER, a tetraploid, is a 6 inch fragrant deep yellow with a cherry red brushed eye and a matching thin edge encircling the petals with a slight blush appearing on the sepals. The petals have a pale cream midrib which begins deep in the pronounced olive green throat. It has beautiful dark semi-evergreen foliage. Extended bloomer and fertile
